This can be a great solution for all size companies, offsite backup solutions start as low as $15 month. The key to determining if this solution is right for you is how much available bandwidth you have, and how much data you need to backup.

Tape Backups
If your hard drive slowly fails, or if you get a virus that over time eats away at your files, a recent backup will show damaged files. For this reason, tape backups are an excellent way to backup critical data. Although the initial cost of the tape drive is high, the tapes themselves are relatively inexpensive enabling you to keep multiple backups dating back weeks or months.

External hard drive backups
For small operations, an external hard drive backup can be a life saver. It’s quick to install, setup, and manage. It protects well against hard drive failure.

RAID
RAID offers an impressive solution to combat hard drive failure. In a nutshell, multiple hard drives are used to store duplicate sets of the data so when one drive crashes, no data is lost, and in most cases no down time ensues.
